KIRA MORRISON is an experienced vocalist and songwriter born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She has performed all over the world singing background vocals for acts such as Katy Perry and Rex & The Rhythm, on some of the world's biggest stages such as Madison Square Garden, O2 Arena, Rock in Rio Festival, Hennessy Artistry Festival Barbados, and more. You may have also heard her voice in performances for the MTV Video Music Awards, Katy Perry's “Night of a Lifetime” Special Filmed Live in London, and in commercials for brands such as SoCal Honda Dealers and Burger King.
Kira built her singing career in LA performing with groups such as Sunset Singers (The Sugarplums, The Sweethearts), The Satin Dollz, PHNX WING Entertainment (Jingle 5, Holly Belles), and her own jazz quartet, Kira & The Major 3. A versatile vocalist, Kira sings in a variety of genres, including pop, jazz, musical theater, and R&B. By the age of 30, she has already worked with acts such as NIKI (88 Rising), Ylona Garcia (88 Rising), the Alex Mendham Orchestra, Aubrey Logan (Postmodern Jukebox), Adam Levy (Norah Jones), Matt Bennett ('Victorious'), and Donny Most ('Happy Days').
During the fall and winter of 2025, Kira sang background vocals for Katy Perry's album promotion tour, which included shows at Rock in Rio Festival (Brazil), the AFL Grand Final Pre-Game Show (Melbourne), Madison Square Garden, Central Hall Westminister, and more. In addition to singing, Kira also plays acoustic guitar and accompanies herself for solo performances at some of SoCal's most popular local venues, including Yaamava' Casino (formerly San Manuel Casino), Sunset Marquis Hotel, La Valencia Hotel La Jolla, Park Club Costa Mesa, and Ovation Hollywood (formerly Hollywood & Highland).
